Been a while! Can’t say

Tuesday, July 23rd, 2002 by Ian

Been a while! Can’t say that a WHOLE lot has gone on in that time. I’ve been busy working and helping out with the Zinf project. It’s an open source MP3/OGG/CD player. If you know what that means, you’re ahead of the game. It used to be FreeAMP.

Last weekend we went camping down in Waterton. I’ve NEVER been there despite living 2 hours away. It was very nice. We saw a small black bear, and a bunch of ovine creatures.

Next weekend we are heading the other direction and camping at Crimson Lake, which is between Rock Mountain House and Nordegg. The weather should be what it has been for the last month. “Hot and Windy” or “Hot and Not Windy”. Your choice.

The week after that, we are on to a Saskatchewan tour. Saskatoon and Prince Albert. Woo Hoo! Shel’s mom got new hardwood that we have to check ou, and her sister and brother-in-law are celebrating their 40th b’days too. At least if it’s “Hot and Not Windy”, we can take a dip in the lake!
