The Perpetual Weblog

Over the last couple of months, the Canadian Space Agency has been recruiting potential astronauts for their next batch, and, of course, I applied.  I made it through the first cut of 5000 applicants, but not through the second cut of 2000 applicants.  Sigh.  Oh well, I didn’t really think I’d get in, but hoped I get a little bit farther than that.  I had a house picked out in Houston and everything!   🙂

I’m still routing for my two friends here at work who haven’t yet received an answer either way.

I have finally uploaded a selection (200 out of about 4000) pictures to my gallery on the Squid.  I evenwent so far as to caption them all so you can see where they are without me telling you.  Give yourself a good 15 minutes to have a peruse.  I DIDN’T upload great huge 5 megapixel versions, but I have them.  If you want to see them, let me know, but it seems like overkill for a little slide show.
