It’s been a long time since I’ve posted an update, so I thought I’d better do it. There has been a fair amount of stuff going on…

Shelley:<\/b>

\nShelley has been working for the Calgary Board of Education again. Not as a teacher, but as an assistant. It actually works out nicely for her, the hours are short (11:30-1:30) but consistant, and I think she just likes getting out of the house. It’s also a foot in the door again with the CBE. She may become a teacher again yet!

Dylan:<\/b>

\nWell, he’s finally quit trampoline and tumbling. I think he’s going to train until the end of March, but there really is no reason to (other than the fact that we’ve PAID for it). I don’t really know how I feel about this development, but Shelley is not impressed. My mixed feelings are based on:<\/p>\n

  • We can’t FORCE him to go if he’s not enjoying it any more. (well, we COULD, but to what end?)<\/li>\n
  • I quit playing hockey when I was a teenager, so I’d be a hypocrit if I forced him to go.<\/li>\n
  • He’s not going to be doing nothing (More about that below)<\/li>\n



    Quinn:<\/b>

    \nDylan’s story leads directly into Quinn’s story. They are both starting to play Lacrosse next week. They both have friends who play and have been to a couple “Roughneck’s”<\/a> games so they’re going to give it a go! I think it’s pretty cool, but I know very little about it. This weekend we’re going to get their equipment togther and they go to a beginner’s workshop next week….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
