As some of you know, a good friend of our was diagnosed with breast cancer not too long ago, so here in town we have a “Weekend to End Breast Cancer” that she is participating in. I’m taking an amazing journey the weekend of July 28-30, 2006, and I’d
\nlike you to join me. Thousands of women and men are going to walk 60 km
\nthrough the streets of Calgary over the course of two days to raise
\nmoney for breast cancer research at the Alberta Cancer Foundation.<\/p>\n

I have joined the Angels Wings team, captained by my friend Rhonda, who
\nwas diagnosed in Sept. 2005 with breast cancer. I am very proud to be a
\nmember of Rhonda’s team and to help raise funds that we all hope will
\nbring about the day when breast cancer is a thing of the past. Every
\nwalker participating must commit to raising a minimum of $2000.00 and
\nmy personal goal is to raise at least $2500.00.<\/p>\n

I am sure that like me you have been touched by the fight against breast
\ncancer in some way; so many of us know family and frends affected by
\nthis disease and I know I can count on you to support me in my small
\npart of th battle! I hope you will join me in this exciting adventure by
\nagreeing to donate to the efforts of Team Angels Wings. Please use the
