It took 9 hours because there were SO MANY fiddly little bits that needed to be cut JUST SO, but all the tile is in none the less.  I can&#8217;t grout for 24 hours, so I&#8217;ll wait until tomorrow night to do it, but it shouldn&#8217;t take too long, an hour or so tops.  <\/p>\n<p>Not much else to say, I didn&#8217;t DO anything else today, just tile, cut, tile, cut, cut, cut, tile, cut&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Ah!  More to say!   There HAS to be a good way for your average joe to cut tile.  I tried the &#8220;score and snap&#8221; method with less than decent results, so ended up using a masonry jigsaw blade and cutting each piece that way.  It worked well enough but it takes a good 3-4 minutes per cut (not counting measuing and stuff) and it very messy.  Any bright ideas for next time?  I ended up cutting the last couple tiles with a grinding blade on a drill since my last jigsaw blade burnt out (I thought the jigsaw was gonna die too).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;with grout going in tomorrow.
