I also ripped out the last of the old stuff from the ensuite bathroom, put in a new “underlayment” and tiled it.\u00c2\u00a0 I really only planned to do the subfloor today, but it didn’t take very long, so I went ahead an tiled.\u00c2\u00a0 Not grouted yet, obviously, though.\u00c2\u00a0 We already have the new cabinet and counter top\/sink and toilet, so I can just go ahead and install those as time permits.<\/p>\n
We did have some bad news this weekend too.\u00c2\u00a0 A friend of ours’ daughter was pregnant, and they knew there were problems — a (forgive me if I get it wrong) herniated diaphram.\u00c2\u00a0 What that means is that the baby’s stomach and liver were growing where the lungs should have been.\u00c2\u00a0 Well, the weekend started with the birth, but hours later the boy died.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s very sad, he really didn’t have any lung tissue.\u00c2\u00a0 We’re going to a simple little memorial tomorrow night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
