After those two long posts by “the oldies” I can’t say nothing….can I?<\/p>\n
I have not been to the South recently, I have not been to Mexico.\u00c2\u00a0 In mid-April though I’ll be going to San Jose for a business conference.\u00c2\u00a0 Shelley will be coming down to join me at the end of the week and we’re going to spend a long weekend in San Francisco — she’s never been there and I’ve been there probably 8 times.\u00c2\u00a0 We have a tour to Napa planned, but we won’t have a car so we’re just going to cab around and see what we can find in the city for the most part.\u00c2\u00a0 The hotel is near Union Square so there should be some good shopping.<\/p>\n
There was talk of me going on a business trip to Switzerland after I got back from San Francisco, but that fell through.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m still on the list to go the next time…probably inside the year.<\/p>\n
This September (and the following two Septembers) the big GPS show, “ION” will be in Savannah, Ga, so I will likely be heading there in the next little while.\u00c2\u00a0 Shelley swears she will be attending that one too.<\/p>\n
The rest of life has been “more of the same” really.\u00c2\u00a0 The weekend before Easter I painted Quinn’s room.\u00c2\u00a0 It was that horrible bright orange and took 5 coats of paint cover.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s now primary blue on two walls and primary red on the other two.\u00c2\u00a0 Nice and relaxing.\u00c2\u00a0 Then Shelley’s sister and family were here for Easter.<\/p>\n
It’s been a busy couple of weeks I guess.\u00c2\u00a0 Today, I get to pick up Quinn’s new desk\/wall unit for his room a put it together (Ikea!)<\/p>\n
Dylan is currently out with his girlfriend’s family (Katrina) at their cabin near Fairmont Hot Springs.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s actually in the same development where Silner’s and Wiebe’s had cabins on Columbia Lake.\u00c2\u00a0 He’s been struggling a little at school lately.\u00c2\u00a0 Math has never been his strong suit and he’s making the final push to get through Pure Math 30.\u00c2\u00a0 Honestly, he brings me questions that take ME an hour to work out — but he’s starting to buckle down and get it done.\u00c2\u00a0 3 months, that’s all.<\/p>\n
Not much else to say.\u00c2\u00a0 We haven’t heard from Scott much.\u00c2\u00a0 I assume he’s still alive down there on the bottom of the world.\u00c2\u00a0 Say something!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
