Today I took the truck back to the place that did the timing chain 16 months ago, with the same complaint&#8230;A hideous chain rattling noise for about 5 minutes after you start it.  I&#8217;m pretty sure a timing chain should NOT stretch out in 16 months and 20,000 clicks.  I&#8217;m most annoyed! (Luckily, my tax return will cover the cost if I have to but, but, but&#8230;).  Oh well, what am I to do?!  I did have it ponted out to me that this WAS the only money I have put into the truck in the last 18 months, so $1000 in a year  and a half really isn&#8217;t that bad considering payments on a new car would be more like $6000.
