We took Schroeder to the vet’s today.\u00c2\u00a0 He had been failing, but in the last couple days he stopped eating and drinking.\u00c2\u00a0 It was time.\u00c2\u00a0 I know we did the right thing for him but that doesn’t make it easier.<\/p>\n

I’m a little surprised how hard hit’s hitting me.\u00c2\u00a0 Shelley’s being stoic, but she’ll miss him too.<\/p>\n

We were hoping he’d hang on until Dylan got back for Christmas, but I guess that just wasn’t to be.<\/p>\n
