{"id":645,"date":"2010-08-22T22:24:25","date_gmt":"2010-08-23T04:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.squids.ca\/Blog\/?p=645"},"modified":"2010-08-22T22:24:46","modified_gmt":"2010-08-23T04:24:46","slug":"kiaora-2005-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.squids.ca\/?p=645","title":{"rendered":"Kiaora 2005-2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, Kiaora passed away this weekend.\u00c2\u00a0 He was diagnosed with lymphoma 2 months ago and we had him on prednisone which seemed to help for a while, but it finally got the best of him.<\/p>\n<p>The vet figured it was probably a genetic thing &#8212; I guess a lot of cats get lymphoma at around 4-5 years old.\u00c2\u00a0 I just wish there was something we could do for him.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps luckily, Quinn was in BC last week &#8212; Kiki was his cat &#8212; so didn&#8217;t have to deal directly with it.\u00c2\u00a0 After the last 2 months I think we&#8217;re mostly feeling relief.<\/p>\n<p>Poor little man.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ll miss him lots.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, Kiaora passed away this weekend.\u00c2\u00a0 He was diagnosed with lymphoma 2 months ago and we had him on prednisone which seemed to help for a while, but it finally got the best of him.
