But <a title=\"Checkershadow Illusion\" href=\"http:\/\/www-bcs.mit.edu\/people\/adelson\/checkershadow_illusion.html\">this optical illusion<\/a> really bugs me.  I just CAN&#8217;T make it the two tile appear the same shade in my mind.
