The Perpetual Weblog

…it seems like no one is reading the blog.  THAT’S OKAY.  If it’s time is passed, so be it.  I will keep it going, but will drop it back to what it was originally intended to be — just a diary of the more major events in my life and the thoughts that may or may not go along with them.

I’d just like to be able to look back in 5 years and remember what was going on in, say, December 2009.

If you have any other ideas where to go with it, let me know.  I’m open to whatever.

We took Schroeder to the vet’s today.  He had been failing, but in the last couple days he stopped eating and drinking.  It was time.  I know we did the right thing for him but that doesn’t make it easier.

I’m a little surprised how hard hit’s hitting me.  Shelley’s being stoic, but she’ll miss him too.

We were hoping he’d hang on until Dylan got back for Christmas, but I guess that just wasn’t to be.

Poor old guy.
