I told the kids that I thought the Flames would LOSE to Detroit. Sure, I’d like to be pleasantly surprised, but really, what were the chances? Apparently pretty good! Calgary took out the Red Wings tonight in game six, near the end of the first overtime period!
Detroit “Hockeytown”? Bah!
It’s really good to see Calgary alive with Flames flags on many cars, people talking about it a work, all that stuff. I had completely lost interest in hockey, but like I said, Now I’m hooked! Twice as bad!
