Recent Changes

Posted on February 10, 2005 by Ian

So I KNOW you’re all “Oooooo”ing and “Aaaaah”ing at the recent changes to the format of the “Ol’ Blog”. Honestly, I was bored, so I decided to change the appearance to look a little bit more like a newspaper. What do you think? What parts should I get rid of? What should I add? (Current weather is already on the list).

Scott and I have already spoken about me opeing up the blog so he can post “Front Page” stories. Should I do that? Does anyone else want to post? Let me know. Stop being quiet out there……

Still no mail deliveries!

Okay …. I have to say I really like the format …. really like it (not witht e red and green you tried) but think you should try copperplate font. At least for the headlines. Current weather would be good and what about working in some GPS stuff … key locations … where people are … the number of caches found for example. Location of travel bugs.

I’d like to be able to post a blog or two especially under my own name if possible.

Does anyone but Terry and I read these thibgs?

Heh heh. The red and green was just for debugging. I was hoping no one would be looking at the site while I was figuring stuff out. I like your ideas, I’ll see if I can do some of them, so the list is:

    Copperplate (?) font for headlines
    Current Calgary, Nelson, Hustisford weather
    Current GPS Bug locations
    GPS cache counts
    ??
