While Terry is pondering his EXCITEMENT today, I’ve been in my own little — less icky — world of pain.
Warts. That’s the trouble. I’ve had them for years, those “clingers to the bottom of my feet”. Well, in the interest of self improvement, one of my initiatives — besides losing weight — has been to rid myself of the little buggers. I’ve been to dermatologists in the past with little luck. They’ve been frozen, burned, blistered and cut, multiple time each, but they keep coming back. Well, I’ve had it now. The doctor I saw yesterday agreed and pulled out the big guns.
He injected chemotherapy drugs directly into them.
I can feel the little buggers squirming now. Of course the soles of my feet feel like hamberger and I can barely walk, but, by god, I will kill them. I don’t care if it takes 14 treatments to do it either. A couple of them are already turning black. Ha ha ha! Take THAT!
Whew! With that out of my system, I can report a little easier. I think the GeoDashing thing looks kind of fun — interesting anyway. We could form a team, but with my feet the way they are, I’ll be out of commission for a few weeks (until next treatment in four weeks).
Have either of you looked to see how many locations (or points) a team would typically get to win? Is it tens, hundreds, ???
Ian
Seldom have I heard you so exuberant or with such resolve in your tone. I had no idea you had warts on your feet. I’m …. well not sure I like you anymore. I admire your pluck. Some people get degrees some do charity work to improve themselves. I think having warts removed using bioweapons is right up there. Good work. We will support you. leigh is rolling her eyes … I can sense it.
I have no idea about the geodashing thing, the two nearest me are on the tops of moutains. Or at least what we call mountains. I’ll look tomorrow.
I thought I had posted a comment yesterday, but nothing shows up. I’ll try again.
Ian, what about some gel inserts for your shoes? Could you walk better then?
There are 5 geodash pts that are accessible to me, at least on the surface. But possibly when I get there it might be a farmer’s field where he keeps his bull.
They couldn’t all be reached on the same day, though.
Teams need to have a max of 5 people. Could we bend that rule to five gpses? Then it could be: Calgary, Nelson, Hustisford, Washington DC, and room for one more.
