Yup its that time again ….
We harvested some of the bounty this weekend (as well as nailing six …. count em six geocaches). We picked up 6 kg of hazel nuts (filberts to you) as well as plums by the score and heritage apples. The plums are on a strict rationing system lest one of us eat too many and … well … you know the rest. There remains TONNES of honey to process and bottle. Yickes.
I’m awaiting Ian’s next wart update (wart-watch) with some …. well ….. I’m not sure how I feel. Perhaps Terry could fill in with a personal piece on his most recent medical intervention.
I think I need coffee ……………………
No comment….Ter?
I’m fine…just a bit….ahhh…looser….thats all. Actually twas not bad, even the prep wasn’t bad…just a lot of fluid in 2 hrs, mixed with Gatorade it wasn’t bad at all. The procedure was fine…I was in the procedure room…they said they were giving me the ‘jungle juice’….and then I woke up in recovery. Found one polyp, turned out to be an adenoma, which has a 10% chance of evolving into cancer…so I gotta report in 3 years for a repeat. Otherwise my innards are clean and pink………
Went to a conference on Disasters on Fri/Sat…Sarin gas, VX, Anthrax, Botulism, plague that sort of thing…interestingt….I look good in a Type A Biohazard suit, I can assure you…
Further on Geodashing…we went out this weekend, and had a lot of fun…Found 3 (for 9 points)…one Saturday, two Sunday….see the website, our finds are the only Wisconsin dashites noted by V’s…We gotta make a team…twould be fun…Viv lost her cellphone while we clambered through the bush on Sunday. Middle of no where. 3 hrs later we got a call…some guy was walking his dogs(in the middle of nowhere) and found it…and he didn’t KNOW anyone in Madagascar to call on our dime!!! Whatta fluke!!
