First real summer day of the year here…Viv and I spent some time Geodashing (you guys remember geodashing don’t you?…I didn’t think so.) Got one dashpoint in the black area of Milwaukee, another in a upper crust exurban development in the “Lake Country” between Milwaukee and Madison, and a third in athe parking lot of an old folks’ home in Sun Prairie. Easiest 9 points we’ve ever gotten.Very humid conditions and on the way went through a very severe thunder storm…had to sit it out on the side of the road because we literally couldn’t see anything for the rain. Later heard there were tornado warnings where we were. Lots of trees blown down but no tornado. Then we drove about 40 miles to another small town to watch the Hustisford girls’ soccer team (we know a lot of the girls from when Tim went to school in Husty) play in a sectional championship. They had a great season for a school of 120 kids, but got killed today. Then home via back roads…beautiful countryside…pizza from the Hut…what more could ya ask for, eh?
Viv, Tim and Brady convoy up to Bala around the 15th…I’ll join then on the 27th or so. Cheers.
Sounds very nice. Still raining cats and dogs here. We ALSO had a tornado warning last night – pretty rare for this country.
Obviously there’s no work on the house going on while it rain….sigh.
