First – Happy Birthday Shelley. We tried to call a few times but you guys apparently went to Banff. Happy Birthday to YOU ….. we raised a glass of wine (or two) to you.
At the risk of jinxing it for the last day or two, Joan has survived New Zealand. We did try to kill her with warm sunny weather, good local olive oil and dukah, inumerable bottles of wine, hazel nut collecting, walks in the bush and endless driving to “oh and ah” at things. We’ve enjoyed having her and we send her back to the frozen north with an extra suitcase of goodies, a wee puku (tummy), a taste for yummy foods and a tan.
No doubt Joan will post a note of her travels and maybe a picture or two, what do you say Joan are you up to the challenge or are you going to let ME chose the photos???
Honey Scott! Send HONEY! Did you forget to send her home with extra honey? Please don’t forget to add extra HONEY. There must be more honey you could fit in if you had to. You HAVE to send more HONEY. (But Shelley adds that she shouldn’t carry it on to the plane!)
She has some honey on board but due to her choice to take only one bag the space was limited. More honey will be sent …. trust me … I’m just about to start extracting honey in the next week or so!
