Stupid Flames

Posted on April 22, 2008 by Ian

I debated.  Should I watch the game and curse the Flames to be out of the playoffs (Game 7 against the San Jose Sharks tonight), or should I NOT watch the game and let them have a fighting chance.

I watched.

They’re out.

At least I can forget about hockey now and move on.

Naw…real good game last nite…Pens and Rangers…still good hockey left…andd you don’t have to live and die for the home team. Of course, in New Zealand, their cricket players all sell their souls for smelly Indian rupees.

I (of course) don’t “live and die for the home team”, but it’s more interesting when it’s the home team. I just lose interest when there’s no real connection. YOU are a REAL hockey fan….unlike myself.
