After 12 years of torture — and only a month to go — Dylan had his graduation ceremonies Thursday.
It was a long day but all went well. I have a gallery of pictures up.
The day went well, ended with a party at a friend’s house (that he didn’t come home from — surprise surprise) and he’s been “grad camping” for the last two days in the rain. He got home about an hour and a half ago and has been in bed since!
Congrats Dylan…way to go!!! Splendid…..another graduate in the family. So, whats next?
As Dylan won’t stoop to respond to a comment on his father’s blog, I’ll have to answer for him.
Currently, his plans start with working a crappy job for 6-8 months, then a trip back to New Zealand for the snow boarding season – 3-6 months. After that, he thinks he’ll go to the University of Lethbridge (you heard right, Lethbridge) or UBC Kelowna. He really likes a smaller town. The course of studies is anyone’s guess. He will NOT be taking anything to do with math, likely an “-ology” of some sort, most likely, psychology,
We see no point in forcing him to go right away when he has no clue what he would like to do, so we’ll take it as it comes. Hopefully he’ll get some REALLY CRAPPY job to help focus his mind on what he DOESN’T want to do…
