Having been 3 months since my donation, I am entitled to know the status of the recipient, so I called Canadian Blood Services (expecting the worst), but they just go back to me with GOOD news:
The recipient is alive, the marrow cells have grafted and are growing in and producing blood!
That’s all the information they can tell me until a year from the transplant, so I’ll just have to be satisfied with that. YAY!
