Genealogy

Posted on October 10, 2008 by Ian

Since going over to teh UK, and perhaps before that, I’ve harboured an interest in the genealogy that Dad had been doing.  I haven’t REALLY put much effort into it yet, but I have come up with a way to share the information without too much hassle.  I’ve set up the Squids Genealogy Pages using a tool called phpGedView.  Now, all it REALLY does is allows viewing and editting of GEDCOM files, but it’s neat to browse through and maybe I WILL be able to add some information.  For now, none of you has an account, so you’ll only be able to browse, and only the dead people.  If you’d like more access, email me a password and I’ll set you up.

Viv – if you’d like to send me a GEDCOM of the work you’ve done and your family, I can tie it into the tree…

Isn’t it too bad that Bartholemew has dropped out of the family name lexicon? What say, still fertile ones, whataboutit…another Bartholemew to make the circle unbroken??
