I’m just sitting, waiting for my taxi now. I’ll admit I’m a little bit nervous about this trip, though I’m not really sure why — there’s only about 7 hours of meetings and stuff we have to do and the rest of the time is ours to explore Tokyo. Tomorrow we meet with and have dinner with the exec’s of Fujitsu Electronics, which should be interesting and the the next day we ride the bullet train down to Mie to go on a tour of the fabrication plant where they make our chips. That’s it. Then back to Tokyo to explore.
What should I be sure to bring home? I’ll be online once I get to the hotel, so lets see if any of you can come up with any good ideas. I don’t really have any.
On a sad note, Scott and Leigh’s dog “Calgary” had to be put down yesterday. I guess he was losing the use of his back legs — old age really. He was almost 11 years old. Leigh is quite upset I know and I haven’t heard from Scott on the subject yet. Very sad. Quinn will be most upset, but I haven’t told him yet.
