Well, Kiaora passed away this weekend. He was diagnosed with lymphoma 2 months ago and we had him on prednisone which seemed to help for a while, but it finally got the best of him.
The vet figured it was probably a genetic thing — I guess a lot of cats get lymphoma at around 4-5 years old. I just wish there was something we could do for him.
Perhaps luckily, Quinn was in BC last week — Kiki was his cat — so didn’t have to deal directly with it. After the last 2 months I think we’re mostly feeling relief.
Poor little man. I’ll miss him lots.
